Introduction
This 2-day workshop will introduce students to the various aspects of digital photography: from different types of cameras (point-and-shoot, dSLR, etc) and lenses, to exposure, lighting and composition. The bulk of this workshop will be hands-on, so bring your camera (and manual), lenses and tripod (if you have one). Film, as well as digital, shooters are welcome.
Note: this workshop will NOT cover digital processing, that is covered in my Processing And Managing Digital Photographs workshop.
Details
Transportation to and from the location and lodging are the responsibility of each participant; I will be happy to suggest locations for lodging at reasonable rates.
Participants should bring a digital/film camera (dSLR with interchangable lenses preferred) & it's instruction manual, enough batteries and memory cards for a weekend of shooting, sturdy tripod (if possible) and laptop (with Photoshop, or other image editing software, installed).
